On August 2, we’re sampling the “big water,” the paradise native Washoe Indians dubbed Lake Tahoe. With its matchless beauty, endless sporting choices and world famous events, Tahoe serves up acres more spirit than one episode can feature. Still, this one is packed with first class thrills. Troll the pristine waters and angle for the mega-Mackinaw trout where you hear the legend of California’s own Loch Ness monster, “Tahoe Tessie.” Then, we’ll go sleuthing outdoors with a high-tech game of hide-and-seek, before daring you to control your foot-stompin’ at the 6th annual Telegrass Festival.

    Dear Experience El Dorado,
    I was happy to see the Telegrass festival get some coverage. It is a great event. However, I do not understand why Gary Bell received any coverage from this event at all. His shop received more exposure than Vertical Sports, the shop that co-sponsors that event. This seems very unfair, particularly since Gary has been invited to participate in the Telegrass festival and has refused.
